The Biggest Coffee Drinking Cities in the UK

Batch Coffee Club has been going strong now for over 4 years.

We have sent out over 100 fortnightly coffee boxes and included over 150 coffee roasters in the UK.

We also have shared these incredible coffees with tens of thousands of customers over the last few years.

I always love the thought of our coffee subscription boxes being sent out to all corners of the country, which got me thinking where the most coffee mad parts of the UK were.

Coffee Drinking Cities UK

As we are based throughout the UK we don’t have a skew to a particular city (unlike a coffee roaster in Manchester for example).

So, after some data analysis I managed to figure out which regions we are sending out the most coffee to and deduce where the most coffee crazy part of the UK is.

I then took to Google and investigated what the British public are searching for when it comes to online coffee and where in the UK we are searching.

I took the 2 keywords ‘coffee beans’ and ‘ground coffee’ and analysed how many searches over the last 2 years there have been around the UK and analysed the 60 biggest cities.

I found the population size of each city to establish which areas per capita search for these key terms and then took the average ranking of each city.

I then repeated this process, for terms like ‘coffee pods’ and ‘nespresso’ to see where in the UK these terms were widely searched for.

Please checkout what we believe to be the top 10 cities in the UK that are most obsessed with coffee.
