Batch coffee club is all about celebrating the incredible coffee roasters that we have in the UK and the brilliant coffee that they source from around the world.
We are a team of coffee industry professionals that have coffee running through our veins.
We keep everything fun and real.
Just bloody good single-origin coffee in each box with heaps of information about each bag in our write-ups.
With an ever-growing list of roasteries popping up by the week in the UK and Ireland, there are so many new coffees and roasting styles to try.
Although the larger more established roasteries are easy to find online, the smaller micro-roasters are a little harder to sniff out. Which is where we come in.
Whether you’re new to the world of specialty coffee or you’re a seasoned veteran, you will appreciate trying two coffees at once to be able to compare flavours and attributes alongside each other.
Which is why we send you two different coffees in our subscription box.
It is how the professionals compare coffee in coffee tasting competitions and it is how we like to enjoy ours.
We receive coffees from around the UK which are sampled, slurped, sipped and then reviewed.
The very best are paired together to complement each other inside our boxes.
We are completely honest and transparent; the subscription service is personal and unique and we want to get to know you and create a coffee-loving community around Batch.
OUR STORY
Meet our founders Tom and Laura
Our founders Tom and Laura have worked around the world in specialty coffee for over 10 years.
From Australia where they cut their teeth in the specialty coffee industry working in independent coffee shops as a barista and later learning the art of coffee roasting.
Their coffee journey then took them to South America, where they lived in Colombia and Peru, working on coffee farms and experiencing what life is like in coffee-producing countries.
They returned to the UK and Tom initially started roasting coffee for an independent roastery in Manchester.

Weekends were spent sampling the great coffee we have in the UK and the pair soon realised there was little information and reviews about independent speciality coffee.
So with a pen, a spoon, a kettle and little bit of prior knowledge about creating a website, Batch coffee was born.
Tom and Laura are as passionate as ever to source the very best coffee to showcase in the coffee club.
