The Sage Dual Boiler espresso machine is one for the purists. It's very much a domestic version of a commercial espresso machine, as it doesn't have the built-in grinder like many other Sage coffee machines and features two separate boilers.

The dual boiler enables you to operate the espresso part of the machine and extract your coffee whilst simultaneously using the other boiler to steam milk. This is something that's terribly important in coffee shops, as a latte would take nearly twice as long to make otherwise. At home, perhaps it's not as crucial, but this feature will reduce your latte-making time considerably.

I'd certainly look into these if you're regularly making three or more milky coffees at once. The engineering behind Sage coffee machines is always top-drawer, and the Dual Boiler is no exception. From the heating element inside the group head that adds extra heat when needed during extraction, to the refilling of the brew boiler via the steam boiler to ensure refill time between shots is in seconds rather than minutes - everything is geared towards espresso perfection.

The Sage Dual Boiler doesn't come with a grinder, so you'll need to purchase one separately. Whilst the built-in grinders can have their limitations, you might prefer to purchase a more precisely engineered grinder anyway.
